Program Information
The Consortium of Official Language Community Minority Media (Consortium) is one of three organizations mandated by the Canadian Heritage to oversee the delivery of the Local Journalism Initiative (LJI) program, which supports the creation of original civic journalism that covers the diverse needs of underserved communities across Canada.
(The other organizations responsible for overseeing the delivery of the LJI program are the Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC) and News Media Canada.)
For the purposes of the LJI program, the Consortium serves official-language minority community media and Francophone community radio and television stations in Quebec.
If you require more information about the LJI program, please consult the program guides below or get in touch with our LJI Program Management Team at ijl-lji@olconsortiumlo.ca.
